Spencer's Grannie went to Heaven on March 5, 2011. She will be dearly missed but we will cherish our memories and keep her alive in our hearts forever.
I have to say something to you Susan. I know losing your mother and your son's "Grannie" is more than you can bear right now. I know the heart if raw and heartbroken and your precious little one will have so many questions. But what I also know is the love and gentleness that your mother instilled in you. I saw it first hand and you had an amazing mother. AMAZING!
I trust that the pictures will keep her alive forever in your hearts but I pray that the "memories" of this incredible woman, will comfort your hearts. She is away, that's true but her spririt will live FOREVER AND EVER Susan. Everywhere you look, you'll see her. Certain smells will remind you of her. Places you went together will be a memory in your heart.
I know she was more than proud of you and watching you be a mother yourself. What a joy you were to her and when we see wonderful things from our own children, as she saw in you and then your baby, we are fulfilled. We are whole and we are completed.
She left this worldly place for a place next to the throne of God where His word promises us no pain, no suffering and no unhappiness. She is free of all of that now and I am sure she has a very special set of angel wings for she certainly earned them while she was here with us.
I believe that your mother will always be with you, she will still be able to witness your life and her grandbaby.
I am honored that I can be amongst the many, many people who can honestly say, she was my friend. And she was a darling....a wonderful friend to have. She will be missed by so many Susan. Please just know that my prayers are with you honey and if you ever need anything, I will always be here for you!
That picture is perfection - such love. He is a better kiddo for the love his Grannie gave him, even if just for a short time. She will always be with him, always watching over him.
God has blessed Spencer with an amazing memory, so I think he will always remember the love his Grannie had for him. Also, when you have those moments of thoughts of her, that's when she's telling God how proud she is of you and her precious Spencer!
