We drove to Fredericksburg yesterday to visit the
Hangar Hotel. It's a 1940s-insipired hotel with a neat diner at the tiny airport in Fredericksburg. You can sit inside the diner and watch planes come and go. We thought Spencer would get a big kick out of this since he loves planes. It did not disappoint!
We had some yummy sweet treats, peeked inside the airplanes and checked out the hotel and officer's club. If it hadn't been 100 degrees we probably would've hung out a little longer. A fun outing!
P.S. Spencer has been telling people about the plane above. I thought he was calling it a "Tommy plane" but then I realized he was saying "timey plane" as in "old-timey plane." :)
