Artsy

Daddy took Spencer to Hobby Lobby this week to stock up on art supplies. They bought an easel, paints, paint brushes, pastel chalks and lots of paper. I loved seeing Spencer so focused on his creations.

Toddler Troubadour

Shirtless. Husky voice from a cold. Mad rhythm. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy.

Our Boy Is Growing Up: Exhibit A

Fingerpainting

Last night Spencer tried to convince us to let him fingerpaint before bedtime, so we promised he could do some art today. First he did some traditional fingerpainting.

Then he worked on his brush technique. These pictures made me think of that character on Sesame Street who painted numbers on a sandwich using mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise. Remember?

I Dig Your Chili

Spencer and Daddy made taco chili for dinner last night. Cooking together is fun!

Soaring

"One day I want to ride in a submarine so I can soar through the ocean."

New Helmet

Spencer went for a spin on his bike today sporting his brand new helmet.

p.s. I'm sure this video won't work on mobile devices...

p.s.s. I still have intentions to write more about vacation... things have been a little hectic lately...
