Daddy took Spencer to Hobby Lobby this week to stock up on art supplies. They bought an easel, paints, paint brushes, pastel chalks and lots of paper. I loved seeing Spencer so focused on his creations.

Fingerpainting

Last night Spencer tried to convince us to let him fingerpaint before bedtime, so we promised he could do some art today. First he did some traditional fingerpainting.

Then he worked on his brush technique. These pictures made me think of that character on Sesame Street who painted numbers on a sandwich using mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise. Remember?
